A BIT ABOUT ME.

    WHERE IT ALL STARTED

I grew up in Rockford, Minnesota, a small town that shaped my sense of community, discipline, and love for the outdoors. Sports were a major part of my childhood, giving me structure and teaching me how to push myself. From early mornings on the track to long days spent outside, athletics kept me active and grounded. Those years built the foundation for my later success and sparked the mindset I still carry today: stay curious, stay committed, and always keep moving forward.

The Years That Built My Drive

For my bachelors, I attended Drake University, where I competed as a Division I pole vaulter and later a decathlete. My experiences on the track and in the classroom pushed me to understand discipline, resilience, and performance at a much deeper level. Being a two-time team captain was one of the most defining parts of my college career and taught me how to motivate, support, and lead a diverse group of athletes through both success and challenge. While training and competing year-round, I also worked a full-time job and earned my marketing degree, which required a level of focus and time management that continues to shape how I operate today. Drake was the place where my love for athletics, leadership, and strategy came together and set the foundation for how I communicate, problem-solve, and push myself forward.

    HOW BOUT THEM CHIEFS?

Moving to Kansas City was a major shift, but it’s where my adult life really took shape. It’s where Haley and I built our home, added a couple of dogs to the mix, and figured out what day-to-day life looked like on our own terms. KC gave me a solid community, good friends, and new hobbies like climbing and golf that helped balance the pace of work. It’s also where my career started to gain direction, giving me chances to learn, step up, and take on responsibilities that shaped who I am professionally. Kansas City wasn’t the plan for most of my early life, but it became the place that grounded me and helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect.

    WHAT'S NEXT?

Looking ahead, I’m focused on taking on work that interests me and letting the quality of what I do speak for itself. I want to keep building things I’m proud of, whether that’s a project, a process, or something purely creative. I’m also making more space for travel, time outside, and the parts of life that give me perspective. I want to stay curious, stay active, and keep moving toward work and experiences that feel meaningful and well-crafted.
